While in the program, residents are expected to work toward the goals of achieving greater residential stability, increased income and self-sufficiency. The newly constructed homes, located in Central East Austin, received a five-star green rating for their energy efficiency and green building practices. Residents pay a rent of no more than 30% of their adjusted monthly income. All homes are fully furnished and contain a washer and dryer.
