The desire of the local owners on their first establishment was to bring an urban dining and cocktail lounge experience to the North Austin/ Cedar Park area. h+uo architect’s challenge was to remodel a former Bennigans restaurant, rid the building of any identifiable Bennigan’s prototype branding elements, and transform the building into a fine dining and drinking establishment that offer patrons an intimate hideaway from the traffic of the highway just outside.

Local craftsman Colin Brooks, who specializes in concrete and rammed-earth, created two prominent earthen elements, the long linear bar and one-of-a-kind cylindrical wine cellar as well as the concrete bar top, bathroom counters and integral sinks. Steel and carpentry maestro Carlo Nieri fabricated the steel and wood elements. The finely crafted finishes along with an earthy palette of stained cedar and brick plus the warm leather seating invite diners to sit back, relax and enjoy the locally-sourced, farm-to-table dining and craft cocktail experience, without commuting to downtown.
