PROJECTS

Axis Design, Round Rock, Texas

This renovation project was initially challenged by first having to have the building’s historical designation lifted. The owner of the building, and of an industrial design firm, came to us to renovate the 3,200 sf building with a more modern design that spoke to the nature of his business. After being reversed by the Historical Preservation Commission (HPC), we appealed their decision with the City Council. We successfully overturned the HPC’s ruling, after our researched proved that the elements and features that originally led to the historical designation were not only inaccurate but not authentic. The resulting building is a clean building with fresh, bold colors that is home to the satisfied client’s thriving business.
